The Step Beyond: Remembering What is Most Important
Knowing what is right or wrong on any issue is important. Yet is it enough from a faith perspective? When absolutely certain, can any one of us be open to the truth as expressed and believed by our neighbor if different from out own? Is there anything so certain to me or you that nothing could change our minds? Can’t that be a frightening thought? Read the scripture from Paul to the Corinthians. You might think it is about what to eat. What else is it about?
A Modest Proposal
When has God called you to do something difficult? Did you end up doing it? How were you changed in the process? How did your understanding of God change? Find some time this week to share your story with someone. We all need to hear stories of God’s call.

Christmas Eve Worship
In the Christmas season, Hennepin Church is filled with the Good News of God-with-us. From majestic hymns with organ and choirs to times of candlelit silence, we come together to once again celebrate the birth of the Christ Child.
